Alex's FMP- Weather
Over the easter holidays I plan to make a collaged pattern design inspired by Matisse and also do some digital drawings. I will however not be able to upload it to Wix over the holidays due to my issue with Wix's accessibility on my devises. I also want to make my primary research richer so I hope to take some photos in fashion exhibitions if I can.
Below and to the right is my weekly plans for the final major project.
How I plan on displaying my work for FMP
I plan on displaying my work in a way that incorporates the methods used by the design museum and Tracey Emin. This will mean that it will be partially on the wall and partially on a plinth or table. It should end up looking like: my collages on the left on mount board on the wall, my 2 fabric patch pattern swatches hanging one on top of the other on the right next to the collages and my fabric book open underneath on a table or plinth. I will try to digitally create my vision but I won't be able to do it on photoshop so I will try other ways if it works out, a photo will be on the right. I have resorted to just drawing it by hand, a picture is on the right.
Practical work planning
I have uploaded some of my practical planning work I think that this shows how I have developed my ideas through making and creating. I think that this shows the continuous change and development throughout my project.
Colour theory
I have used allot of blues in my work (an example of the colours are one the right).I think that it represents the emotions that weather conveys. I mostly associate the colour blue with the motion of calm waves and chilly wintery days.
